This & That

Happy Wednesday! I can't believe its mid-week already! The girl and puppy and I just got up...today we're going to go buy supplies to make an advent calendar with our favorite crafty gals, Holly and Ruby from Sweetheartville.

I found these fun questions over at Andrea's blog Where Ada Likes to Wander, and thought I'd share them here....I just love random information ;)

What is your current obsession?
Craftiness....I am obsessed with sewing and knitting right now. I am now attempting to knit in the round...see my first attempt up above ;) it started as a hat for Audrey, but I made it too big so I think it will become a hat for Mama ;)

what are you wearing now?
Red PJs!

do you nap a lot?
I usually do doze off for a bit when I put Audrey down for her nap...

who was the last person you hugged?
My Audrey!

if you were a tree, what tree would you be?
A pretty Maple Tree that turns brilliant red in the fall :)

what's for dinner?
Hmmm...I dont know yet. Maybe mexican chicken rice casserole? We Okies loooove our Rotel ;)

what was the last thing you bought?
A sewing basket that my mom is going to give me for Christmas! I will try to act surprised~

what are you listening to right now?
"Super Why" on PBS....my life is a sequence of children's shows ;)

What is your favorite weather and why?
If I'm at home cuddled in the Little House, I do like a good thunderstorm. There's something very exciting and restful at the same time about a rainy day. I also love the first snow....a little luxery here on the prairie where we only get a few inches each year.

what time do you usually wake up?
between 7:30 and 8 in the morning.

what is your most challenging goal right now?
Trying to get all my grandiose plans accomplished~

if you could have a house totally paid for, fully furnished anywhere in the world, where would you want it to be?
Hmmmm....I think I would live in a beautiful New England saltbox in some historic and picturesque little town...like Salem or Williamsburg. Some tiny and beautiful little town in France would be nice too...set in a field of lavender with a good bread shop just down the lane!~

3 dream vacation spots:
Williamsburg, Salem (around Halloween!) and Paris

what movies can you watch over and over?
"Pride and Prejudice", "Take Joy", "Take Peace", "The Princess Bride", "Sixteen Candles", "Marie Antoinette", "Amelie" ...and I DO watch them over and over ;)

what is your favourite tea?
Iced. I'm not too picky~

what are you reading right now?
I'm reading Lori's new book "Wild Heart" plus "Handmade Home".....and a giant stack of book that is always on my night stand~

what is your current guilty pleasure?
Coffee with real sugar and half&half. It's so good....Life is to be enjoyed, right?

where is the landscape of your mind?
In a beautiful prairie, with prairies to roam and creeks to explore and lots of precious little animals that love to be petted ;)

you have one wish:
For my family to always be happy and charmed and able to follow our dreams :)

Now....what are YOUR answers?...

Very interesting, I too, love the whole Victorian houses, although I know they are not very practical at all. I will tell you though, LOVED Paris, and would love to go back, not working of course. But I can do without the dirtyness on some of the streets, the whole langauge barrier (hard to understand direction), and the whole you might get mobbed/theift/robbed the next moment on some busy streets.

I went nuts taking picture in Paris, but I didn't get as many as I wanted since we were working the whole time. I took about 500 photos in 5 days, but we were indoor all day long, so I consider that VERY good! A lot of my photos were from sitting in the bus, but hey, it is still gorgeous!

I hope you ladies have a wonderful time crafting together! If I have an adorable blond-headed baby girl, can I join the fun? Actually, I'll probably be in trouble if I have any blond kids, since Mitch and I both have naturally jet-black hair. How about if I have a little black-haired baby girl? ;-)~

Your survey was tons of fun to read!
